What to Expect

You can expect results from a series of relatively short sessions. (The actual time depends mainly on the size of the area you are having treated.) A trained doctor, nurse or laser technician performs each treatment and you are free to return to normal activities immediately after each session. Pre-care
- Please shave the area being treated before your treatment (technician will not shave any private areas for you)
- Do not wax for 6 weeks before your treatments
- Do not tan for 4 weeks before your treatments
- No self tanners
- Do not wear any makeup if you are getting laser on the face before treatment
- try to wear sunscreen everyday if you are getting laser on the face
- No deodorant if you are getting laser on the underarms
- No photo-sensitive medications (if you are unsure please see your doctor)
*Please discontinue laser if you become pregnant and make your technician aware of this
- If you are prone to cold sores or herpes simplex, please see your doctor and take the prescribed medication for 3 days before and after your treatment to prevent an outbreak
- Do not consume alcohol or non[prescribed drugs before a treatment
- If you are sensitive to pain you may take an Advil or Tynenol an hour before your treatment

Past-care
- Do not shower for 24 hours after your treatment. If you need to shower please make it a cooler shower and do not use anything abrasive on the area.
- No excesive sweating for 24 hours after your treatment {working out, saunas, swimming, hot yoyga, etc)
- Do not wear makeup for 24 hours after your treatment of you are getting laser on the face, mineral makeup is okay.
- No sun exposure for one week after treatment (preferably no sun exposure to the area at all)
- If irritation occurs you may use Polysporin oitment or Aloe Vera gel
